The City Dress-up Design Competition - Flyover Fantasy Re-run is organized by the Development Bureau of the HKSAR Government, co-organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, the Hong Kong Institute of Planners and the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design, and supported by the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects and the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, to encourage collaboration for local talents in the professional fields. The competition is held with the objective of giving the columns of the Kwun Tong Bypass a new look. Centring their work around the theme of Lift Up Kowloon East, the winning creativity team created murals of PEOPLE from all walks of life of different periods of Kowloon East on the Bypass columns, forging a stronger identity for Hoi Bun Road and adding value to the space under the Bypass.
