With climate change impacting the world, green living has become a global trend.
Currently, Hong Kong is striving to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. With increasing environmental awareness, the green industry in Hong Kong has also become more diversified and integrated gradually into the community. Many green industry related stores, enterprises and institutions have settled in Kwun Tong and various green initiatives, activities and projects have been launched from time to time, actively advocating low-carbon and waste-reduction life and making effort to save the Earth.
Sustainability is crucial to societal development, and quality and convenience are important to people’s everyday life. In this regard, the green industries have made a lot of effort and contributions: they have raised awareness of environmental protection. As such, we have made the green industries practitioners the subject of this Column, as a way to support green sustainable development, the green industries and their practitioners.
