Smooth community development is attributed to the everyday hard work of grassroots workers who maintain effective daily operations.
Although what they do is rather low profile, the contribution made by grassroots workers cannot be ignored. The assistance they modestly provide is what the entire community depends on. Life without them will be difficult to imagine and probably unbearable.
To express our gratitude, we have deliberately made the grassroots workers the subject of the Column. This aside, we also hope to remind everyone that there may be things in life which we have got used to but they are not something to be taken for granted. We have to thank many people for giving us a normal daily life.
